FAQ

  • Who is Ma Noula for?

Ma Noula is for women who want one-to-one continuity of care from a dedicated midwife, alongside the care you are already receiving. In the NHS, it’s common to see different midwives or doctors at each appointment. Ma Noula provides a consistent, familiar professional who walks with you throughout your pregnancy, birth, and postnatal journey.

  • Can I gift Ma Noula services?

Yes. Ma Noula services can be gifted to a loved one. It’s a thoughtful and meaningful way to offer support, reassurance, and personalised care during pregnancy and birth.

  • What are the benefits of private midwifery care?

Research shows that women who receive continuity of care have better pregnancy and birth outcomes. Having the same midwife throughout means changes are more easily noticed, care is more personalised, and a strong trusting relationship can be built. Ma Noula offers exactly this—consistent, attentive, relationship-based support.

  • Do I still need my NHS midwife?

Yes. At Ma Noula, we support and complement the care provided by your NHS midwife or primary caregiver. Our role is to enhance your experience so you feel comforted, informed, and supported throughout your pregnancy and birth, while still benefiting from the full NHS care pathway.

  • Can you get a private midwife outside of London?

Yes! Ma Noula offers both in-person and virtual support. In-person availability depends on your location—primarily Hertfordshire, North, North West & West London.

  • Is Ma Noula a replacement for private obstetric care?

No. Ma Noula provides continuity of midwifery support but does not replace the clinical oversight of an NHS or private obstetric team. We complement their care by offering time, consistency, and personalised attention
